We have had the privilege of working with Jim in the testing of the Green Mountain line of horse supplements. Having such a variety of horses here from mustangs to thorobreds and everything inbetween, I have had a good chance to test the products out for taste and appeal and results.

We have had some TB mares that we bred and put to pasture last summer to early fall. I went to check them and found one mare had lost alot of weight and was really skinny. I brought her home and started her on a regular feed program along with the body conditioner program and for two months I closely checked her progress. Within that two month period she put on 150 pounds. She also had a very healthy filly in the 10th week that I had brought her home. What a surprise! I also use the body conditioner on some of the horses I have in for training. I like using it on them because feed doesn't have to increase while in heavy training, but their weight stays.

I have also used the Calmative on a few horses that have needed the edge off. The one extreme crazy case that I tried was my old steer wrestling horse. This horse is really "hot" when using him. I used to use 2 c.c. of ace when I started him in training for steer wrestling. I took him to Florida this spring for a young cowboy to use but I knew I had to keep him calm so we could work with them both. Three days in advance I started him on Calmitive and kept him on it for a week. We started working with them, what a difference! The horse stayed very controllable and paid attention. The following week we took him off Calmative and now he only gets it when going to a rodeo. This is one of the greatest natural supplements to work on a nervous horse I have ever tried. I also use it on a few high strung horses I have for training. It takes off the edge without affecting the horses thought process.

I have been a user of your vitamin/mineral Premix for horses for several years with positive results and believed that Super Horse was worth trying. I used Super Horse on two horses. The first was a 22 year old stallion, who is a "hard keeper". Within one week I noticed his manure becoming moist, denser, and there was less of it. During the second week he also started shedding lots of old winter hair before the other "younger" horses on the farm.

The second horse was a five year old stallion, that would act "colicky" during stressful situations ( stressful situations for him are weather change, cycling mares, hauling and early/late feedings). He has not had any colicky incidents, and the weather has made several changes, and mares are beginning their spring cycles. Also, his manure has gone through the same changes as the other horse, and he is shedding more rapidly than his two stable mates.

I used Stride Free on the senior citizen. Dillon is a 30 + year old gelding. He has been retired from riding for about ten years now. About a year ago, his arthritis and years of wear and tear and hard work really began to take its toll. He would "shuffle" in and out of the barn everyday. Picking and trimming his feet became heart breaking. He became frail. As a last resort we began using bute on him. He stopped shuffling, stumbling, and most of all seemed comfortable.

After two weeks on Stride Free we discontinued the bute. After two additional weeks his mobility and comfort level have not been compromised. Most of all he gets all this relief without drugs.

I will be using Stride Free on Dillon and the other horses in our barn that have strenuous athletic schedules. This is a product that really works.
